Dublin City Soul Festival in association with IMRO are proud to present the world’s brightest ‘Rising Stars’ for you to enjoy!

Following an exhaustive global search for the world’s very best up and coming original artists Dublin City Soul Festival have posted the Top 100 Rising Stars ‘09 entries from across Ireland and as far a field as; Belize, Canada, Egypt, England, France, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Togo and the United States, here for you to listen to and enjoy!

There’s a fantastic and varied selection of top quality entries from around the world. The top acts will perform free for you in our festival club, Cassidy's of Westmoreland Street from 6pm on Thursday May 21st. Admission is FREE!

On Friday May 22nd from 5pm a special showcase event will take place in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar where a selection of this years 'Rising Stars' will perform live on stage for you to enjoy while Bar Pintxo will provide Tapas, BBQ and beer (subject to licence hearing).

Votes will be charged at €1. with all proceeds after network charges going directly to the festivals charity the ‘Musical Youth Foundation’ (CHY#18624) – which aims to provide a free musical education to underprivileged children from Dublin.
