The team at Dublin City Soul Festival are passionate about music and dedicated to the promotion of artists and groups who put their heart & soul into creating their own unique sounds. We’re proud of anyone that puts pen to paper to write their own lyrics or picks up an instrument and creates a new melody.

On Valentines Day we launched ‘Rising Stars’ the ultimate search for the best original musicians from around the globe – now the search is over and it’s time for you to enjoy some of the greatest original music on the planet right here on our website and live in our festival club and at our showcase gig from a secret city centre location – more details will be revealed very soon!

You can vote for your favourite artist and influence who will perform live for you to enjoy during the festival. Votes cost €1. with all the revenue, after network charges going directly to our charity the ‘Musical Youth Foundation’(CHY18624) – which aims to provide access to a free musical education to underprivileged children.

Just announced: The top acts will perform free for you in our festival club, Cassidy's of Westmoreland Street from 6pm on Thursday May 21st. Admission is FREE!

On Friday May 22nd from 5pm a special showcase event in a secret location in the heart of Dublin City will put a selection of this years 'Rising Stars' on stage for you to enjoy while Bar P..... (a clue perhaps!?) will provide Tapas, BBQ and beer (subject to licence hearing).
